On the weekend of November 11–13, 2011, two seminarians from Holy Trinity Orthodox Seminary represented the Monastery Bookstore at the annual Christmas Bazaar at the St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Cathedral in Mayfield, Pennsylvania. Novice Matthew Romanchak, a fourth-year student, and John Martin, a second-year, took books, music and honey with them to sell at the bazaar. For Novice Matthew, going to Mayfield was like a homecoming, as he has family living there: “It was nice to see my sister, and we sold a lot of honey.” John Martin said, “It’s unfortunate because I missed the OISM fall meeting, which was the same weekend. On the other hand, we both were treated very well by our friendly hosts. I always feel at home here.”
