Seminarians took part in common obedience
On Saturday, April 17 2010, a common obedience took place at Holy- Trinity Monastery and Seminary. Members of the brotherhood of the monastery, faculty and students participated in planting 150 fir- trees, donated to the monastery by Vladimir Korol's family, long-term parishioners at Holy-Trinity Monastery.
The work team, headed by the Seminary’s dean, Protodeacon Vladimir Tsurikov, was already on the “field of action" by 9 am, disregarding drizzling rain and cold weather. Vladimir Korol supervised the process of improving the monastery’s territory.
One of the Saints commemorated on this past Saturday, Saint Zosima, who found Saint Mary of Egypt, was famous for his love of work. Taking after this Holy man, seminarians have learned much this morning. We wish the seminarians success also in their other obediences for the glory of God!
