The Synod of Bishops, at its session which took place on September 4-6, 2008 in San Francisco, California, has confirmed the appointments of Archimandrite Luke, Abbot of Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, as Rector of Holy Trinity Seminary, and Protodeacon Vladimir Tsurikov as Dean.

Fr. Luke, the seminary's former Dean, and Fr. Vladimir, who previously exercised the functions of Assistant Dean of Holy Trinity Seminary, will thus be able to continue their work in preparing young men to the service of the Russian Church Abroad.
