Moleben served for the suffering Serbian Orthodox people of Kosovo
On February 29, 2008, a moleben for the suffering Serbian people
of Kosovo was served at Holy Trinity Monastery’s St. Job of Pocaev
church in Jordanville, N.Y.
The moleben was served to the Holy Theotokos and St. John of Shanghai and San Francisco by the Deputy Abbot of Holy Trinity Monastery and Dean of Holy Trinity Seminary, Archimandrite Luke (Murianka). Since the controversial pronouncement of independence by Kosovo, Serbian Orthodox have begun experiencing increased discrimination and even persecution, leading already to destruction of Serbian Orthodox churches.
We ask all Orthodox faithful to join in prayer for the suffering Serbian Orthodox people of Kosovo.
