Editorial Board Meeting at the Russian Academy of Sciences
Following up on a meeting held on March 16, 2007, the Editorial Board of a proposed five-volume history of Russian Orthodoxy in the Diaspora met on April 17, 2007, at the Academy of Sciences in Moscow. The meeting was chaired by Archbishop Evgeny, rector of the Moscow Theological Academy and Seminary, and was attended by A.O. Chubarian, M.V. Bibikov, deacon Vladimir Tsurikov, A.L. Beglov, E.S. Tokareva, N.T. Eneeva, A.A. Kostriukov, hieromonk Evfimy (Moiseev), hieromonk Savva (Tutunov), A.A. Larionov, and D.A. Popovsky.
Among the points of the agenda the board discussed proposed editors for the five volumes, and approved the following editorial makeup: Volume 1 will be edited by M.V. Bibikov and hieromonk Evfimy (Moiseev), Volume 2 by A.A. Kostriukov and E.S. Tokareva, Volume 3 by A.L. Beglov and hieromonk Savva (Tutunov), Volume 4 by deacon Vladimir Tsurikov and E.S. Tokareva, and Volume 5 by archimandrite Luke (Murianka), dean of Holy Trinity Seminary, and N.T. Eneeva. The editors have agreed to begin identifying possible authors for the different volumes and will report at the next meeting, which is scheduled for the beginning of June 2007.
